The GraveCrown demo is out

It's playable. There's a free GraveCrown demo out now, and I'd love for you to break it.

Here's the one thing you need to know: the download link lives in the Forge — our Discord. That's not a growth hack, it's just where I can hand it to you directly, hear what's working and what isn't, and hotfix the rough edges while people are actually playing. Join the Forge, grab the build, and you're in.

The demo is a real slice of the game, not a sizzle reel. You wake in the ruins with a sword and a lantern, no map and no narrator, and the world is the tutorial — you learn it by walking into it. Combat is the point, and it holds the same promise the full game does: every fight is winnable if you read it. Watch the wind-up, slip the danger, punish the opening. No XP, no leveling. You don't get stronger; you get better. Expect to die, and expect each death to be a tell you hadn't read yet.

What I'm hoping you'll tell me: does a fight feel fair right up until you lose it, or does it ever feel cheap? Where did the silence work on you, and where did you just feel lost? Those two questions are most of what I'm chasing before launch, and I read every message in the Forge.

None of this changes the plan — GraveCrown still hits Steam on October 1, 2026, and wishlisting is still the single biggest thing you can do to help it land. Forge members get the wishlist link the moment the store page goes live. For now, though, there's a demo waiting for you, and I'd rather you played it than read about it.

Join the Forge. Grab the demo. Go read your first fight in the dark.

More soon. The forge never sleeps.
