By accessing our website at cindieforge.com or playing any CindieForge game (including From Embers), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Use of Our Services

You agree to use our website and games only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our games or website code
• Exploit bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities for unfair advantage in multiplayer contexts
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access our services without permission
• Distribute, sell, or sublicense our games or content without authorization
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users in any community spaces we operate

Intellectual Property

All content on our website and within our games — including but not limited to code, art, music, sound effects, text, logos, and game design — is the property of CindieForge or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may share screenshots and gameplay videos for personal, non-commercial use, reviews, and content creation. We encourage the community to create and share content featuring our games.

Steam & Third-Party Platforms

Games purchased through Steam are also subject to Steam's Subscriber Agreement. In the event of a conflict between these terms and Steam's terms regarding platform-specific features, Steam's terms shall apply to those features.

Early Access & Beta Games

Some of our games may be offered in Early Access or Beta. These games are still in development and may contain bugs, incomplete features, or undergo significant changes. By playing an Early Access or Beta title, you acknowledge that:

• The game may change substantially before final release
• Save data may be reset or become incompatible between updates
• Performance and stability may vary
• Features shown or described may be added, changed, or removed

User-Generated Content

If our games or community spaces allow you to submit content (e.g., feedback, bug reports, suggestions), you grant CindieForge a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content for improving our games and services. You retain ownership of your original content.

Our website and games are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability
